KASHMIR.POINT.CHARLIE/ Berlin, Delhi, Srinagar / 2010 ongoing > > >
Kashmir. Point. Charlie wishes to create a platform for exchange between artists from Kashmir and Berlin in different places to test interdisciplinary
and intercultural working methods. The project is initiated by the performance artist Inder Salim and myself.
The project began with my residence in Delhi in 2010, followed by
Inder's residency in Berlin. After this I invited six artists based in Berlin to travel to Kashmir and work with artists who live there in 2012. This ongoing
Project is open to artists of all disciplines, I admit with exemplary insight again. So far it has already provoked many visual dialogues and improvisations where the boundary of individual authorship blurred.
