During my eight month stay in New York I used different public spaces as my temporary studio. I am interested in the possibility of different functions of the same space at the same time and without being mutually exclusive. The 14 bags are painted inbetween a basketball field and a playground in Dean Street, Brooklyn, NY. The paint drops out of the tins onto a paper bag. In doing so the traces are blown over by the wind. The bag is transformed into a painting and still able to carry its cargo.
